As part of our continued growth and commitment to using the latest in construction technology, we are looking for a BIM Engineer / Co-ordinator to add to our team in our new office in Sandyford, Dublin 18.

We provide services to both private & public sector clients with an emphasis on economical design, sustainability and a client focused approach. Role overview

Building Information Modelling (BIM) Engineer / Co-ordinator based in Dublin 18 (Sandyford).

As a BIM Engineer / Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of projects in accordance with IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018. DRA Consulting Engineers have achieved 3rd Party (NSAI) Certification in I.S. EN ISO 19650-2:2018 in addition to IS EN ISO 9001.

Job responsibilities

• Further Development & implementation of BIM protocols & procedures in compliance with IS EN ISO 19650-2: 2018
• Lead the BIM implementation on Projects ensuring effective project set-up, workflows and compliance with company procedures and protocols
• Develop and manage project specific BIM Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs)
• Demonstrate an expert knowledge in the IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 Standard
• Modelling & production of drawings of Projects using Revit, Navisworks & Autocad
• Management of project deliverables
• Mentoring colleagues in BIM practices, standards & tools including Revit & Navisworks
• Co-ordination and collaboration with external design team members and work colleagues
• Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018
• Troubleshoot BIM-related issues and provide technical support to team members
• Stay updated with the latest software industry trends to ensure the highest level of proficiency

Candidate requirements

• An honours diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the field of Consulting Engineering or Architecture
• Deep understanding & knowledge in BIM Practices & IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Self-motivated with a keen interest in the development and implementation of BIM in Construction
• Expertise in Autodesk Autocad, Revit and Navisworks, with a proven track record of managing projects using these tools

Desirable qualifications

• Professional certifications related to BIM and project management desirable
