Role overview

Graduate / Design Engineer (0-2 years’ experience) based in Wexford Town.

Founded in 2006, DRA Consulting Engineers are an established firm of Consulting Civil & Structural Engineers & Project Managers with offices in Dublin, Limerick and Wexford. As part of our continued growth, we opened our third office in Wexford in 2019. We are building a team of motivated and ambitious people for the Wexford Office which is led by Associate Director & Chartered Engineer, Brian Healy.

Job responsibilities

• Civil & Structural Engineering Design & production of drawings using Revit & AutoCAD
• Assisting Project Engineers / Senior Engineers with administration & project management of projects
• Liaising with clients, design team members and other members of staff
• Use of draughting / modelling software including AutoCAD, Revit, CADS RC

Candidate requirements

• An honours degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Be a member (or become a member) of Engineers Ireland or the Institute of Structural Engineers
• Competent in the use of AutoCAD drafting software
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and in the development of design solutions
• Self-motivated, career focused and with ambitions to reach chartered engineer status
• Cooperative and flexible approach to work

Desirable qualifications

• Experience with civil & structural design software is desirable
