Job responsibilities

  • Further develop and implement BIM protocols and procedures in compliance with I.S. EN ISO 19650-2:2018.
  • Lead BIM implementation on projects, ensuring effective project set-up, workflows and compliance with company procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and manage project-specific BIM Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs).
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the I.S. EN ISO 19650-2:2018 standard.
  • Model and produce project drawings using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
  • Manage project deliverables.
  • Mentor colleagues in BIM practices, standards and tools, including Revit and Navisworks.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external design team members and work colleagues.
  • Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with I.S. EN ISO 19650-2:2018.
  • Troubleshoot BIM-related issues, provide technical support to team members and stay up to date with relevant software industry trends.

Candidate requirements

  • An honours diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in consulting engineering or architecture.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of BIM practices and I.S. EN ISO 19650-2:2018.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivation and a keen interest in the development and implementation of BIM in construction.
  • Expertise in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks, with a proven track record of managing projects using these tools.

Desirable qualifications

  • Professional certifications related to BIM and project management are desirable.
