Role overview

As a Senior Revit / Cad Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of projects in accordance with IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018. DRA Consulting Engineers have achieved 3rd Party (NSAI) Certification in I.S. EN ISO 19650-2:2018 in addition to IS EN ISO 9001.

Job responsibilities

  • Modelling & Drawing Production using Revit, Autocad, Navisworks, Civils 3D, CADS RC etc
  • Implementation of BIM protocols & procedures in compliance with IS EN ISO 19650-2: 2018
  • Assist with the BIM implementation on Projects ensuring effective project set-up, workflows and compliance with company procedures and protocols
  • Assist in the production of project specific BIM Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs)
  • Demonstrate an expert knowledge in the IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 Standard
  • Mentoring colleagues in BIM practices, standards & tools including Revit & Navisworks
  • Co-ordination and collaboration with external design team members and work colleagues
  • Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018
  • Troubleshoot BIM-related issues and provide technical support to team members
  • Stay updated with the latest software industry trends to ensure the highest level of proficiency

Candidate requirements

  • An honours diploma or degree in BIM, Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the field of Consulting Engineering or Architecture
  • Deep understanding & knowledge of Revit & Autocad
  • Highly proficient in BIM Practices and Protocols including IS EN ISO 19650-2:2018
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated with a keen interest in the development and implementation of BIM in Construction

Desirable qualifications

  • Professional certifications related to BIM desirable
